Jillian Rich – Mannered Mutts Rescue

Jillian Rich is a successful business owner and dog trainer based in Bloomington, Indiana. She opened Mannered Mutts Training, a dog training business, in 2018 after graduating from the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. In addition to her thriving business, Jillian is also the founder and executive director of Mannered Mutts Rescue, a non-profit dog rescue organization that focuses on training.

Jillian has been married to her high school sweetheart, Casey Rich, since 2016. The couple welcomed their daughter Lorelai in October 2022 and currently live in Bloomington with their three dogs, Dixie, Phoebe, and Felix.

In her free time, Jillian enjoys staying active and is a member of Cross Fit Bloomington and takes ballroom dancing classes with her wife at Arthur Murray Dance. She has also been a vegan since 2017. Jillian also competes in dock diving at a national level with her dog Dixie. In 2020 and 2022, Dixie was the top in her breed for North American Diving Dogs. In 2021, Jillian and Dixie were contestants on Season 3 of America’s Top Dog on A&E.

Before starting her own business and family, Jillian graduated from The University of Tampa in 2017 where she studied classical voice. She was born in Sarasota, Florida and has always had a passion for animals, particularly dogs. With her strong education and training background, Jillian has been able to build a successful career helping both dogs and their owners.
